Nothing’s more important to us than the health and safety of our employees and guests, and we’ve made the decision to pause public fulfillment center tours as we continue to monitor the covid-19 situation in communities around the world. If you’re a member of the press who would like to visit one of our buildings for your reporting, please reach out to amazon-pr@amazon.com with your request and we’ll work with you to arrange a visit. We look forward to re-opening the public program once there’s more clarity on the global health situation, and thank you for your understanding.Â
If you’ve ever wondered how that product in your online shopping cart gets from Amazon to you, now is your chance to come see for yourself. Even in person, the scale can be difficult to grasp. Many centers for example, span the equivalent of 28 football fields and can hold tens of millions of items on any given day. Our amazing employees pick, pack, and ship Amazon customer orders at more than 175 similar facilities worldwide. We are proud to showcase our FC Tour program and we look forward to your visit.
The tour shows you how products move through our fulfillment centers, focusing on six main processes: Receive, Stow, Pick, Pack, SLAM, and Ship. During the tour, you will meet some of our employees, see robotics and other technology in action, and learn about Amazon’s efforts in the areas of safety and sustainability.
All of our in-person tour locations are accessible by wheelchair, and sign language interpretation (SLI) is available on request for in-person tours as well as live virtual tours. Please contact tours@amazon.com at least 2 weeks in advance of your desired tour date to discuss your needs and help ensure that we can accommodate your request.
